This dress caught my eye the moment someone posted it in the old school discord. It's one of those dresses that's so bad it's good.

I got it off yahoo autions for about £10 and, when it arrived, I loved it even more! However, it had this absolutely awful chemical smell, so I washed it. It's then that disaster struck. It's really my own fault- I should have tested washing just the sash or the headdress, but I didn't. All the glitter print washed out entirely. I was devastated. I cried my eyes out over this stupid ugly bodyline dress and I felt so guilty too. I debated trying to do some kind of print of my own on the dress, an idea that I still might try at some point, but in the end I decided that I wanted to try wearing it as is and see what I thought. After all, I still really liked the cut, the lace placement and the fit.

I actually ended up really loving the coord I made. I have fallen back in love with the dress, despite it being no longer 'glitter' or 'rose' and I hope it has forgiven me for washing out all it's roses. Perhaps it was ready for a transformation, in any case.
